Delete your account

Main → Settings → Databases → (your database) → Delete all data and account

Leaving should be as clean as arriving. Deleting your StoDo Online account removes your cloud data and backups in one irreversible step — so the process is deliberately hard to trigger by accident.

1. Save anything you might want later first: download a cloud backup to the device, or export your goods and operations to Excel. After deletion there is nothing to recover.

2. On your database’s screen, scroll to the last section: Delete all data and account — “Delete all online account data and backups (operation is irreversible!)”. You need to be online for this.

3. Confirm on purpose: the app shows a random number and asks you to type it back — “Enter number … to confirm operation”. A typo (“Invalid number!”) simply asks again; only the exact number proceeds.

4. The app deletes your data and backups, reports “Deletion of all data and account completed successfully!”, and signs you out to the start screen.

Good to know

• Deletion removes what StoDo stores — your inventory data, backups, and account records. Your Google account itself is untouched; it just no longer has StoDo data behind it.
• An active subscription is not cancelled by deleting your data — cancel it in Google Play as well.
• Only the database owner has this button. If you were invited to someone’s database and want out, ask the owner to delete your user card — their data stays, your access ends.
• Signing in again later starts from scratch, like any new user — nothing of the deleted account comes back.
